Granite and Quartz countertops are equally beautiful and vibrant. However, enhancements are pretty hard to find for granite.

Maintenance

Quartz is easy to clean. Just wipe it with soap and water. Granite, however, is high maintenance and needs immediate care.

Healthy

Quartz isn’t porous. They don’t absorb stains or liquids that have germs and bacteria. On the other hand, granite countertops are stained quickly and can produce more bacteria.

Price

Granite ranges from $40-$60, while quartz is more expensive, amounting from $50-$70 per square foot. Installation however is more expensive for granite.
